The Monnow River run’s right through, We are not a place without it.
2 months of nearly solid 6 day’s a week cutting out card to produce this piece.
A Photo that I took a few years ago that has been Digitally Modified , Printed onto Paper, Trimmed and stuck down onto 4 A0 Layers of heavy weight card, Then hand drawn and hand cut and aerosol sprayed one at a time to create a River Scene that is just down the road.
Not that many layers involved in this one but a stink load of detail on layers 2, 3 and 4. Thought it worth documenting.
Acquired a BIG canvas, played with it once and didn’t like it, covered it in addict camo green, thought about it for a while, sketched this idea, so sprayed this idea.
I don’t do freehand that often but I think I’m getting better.
Mash Up Wall Number 2 started.
Work got bigger than the space that was left on Mash Up Wall Number 1 so started a new one.
Some old canvasses re-done with white and colour splash then a shiny chrome and florescent spread of stripes from top left to bottom right.
Had to add four other canvas to add all I wanted to add so I did a match opposite partly.
The Ivy’s all together with good security and watching eyes. And room for the next one’s.
Dave the Cat is one of the best, he’s getting on in years now and needs and definitely gets daily love 🙂 my little ginger O.G.
As long as he’s kicking he will be immortalized on canvas once a year, with spray paint and card.
Going on the House wall (and probably duplicated onto the Workshop Wall and most likley the Mash Up Wall too)
